Looking for inspiration.... monster masks!

I'm busy thinking about this summer's play - Rotten Island - which we'll do with the kids from the village. At the moment, it's all monsters, monsters, monsters.... How to do the monsters?! I absolutely love these from Brutal Knitting but is life too short?

Not even our dreams are safe!

How's this for an interactive theatre project?! What a great, crazy idea from Forest Fringe!
FOREST FRINGE WILL MAKE ALL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE

Every evening at this year’s Latitude festival, Forest Fringe make you a promise. All we need is your dream, the best dream you can remember, or the most exciting, or the most ludicrous. It might be a flying dream, or a falling dream. In some circumstances it might even be a nightmare. Whatever it is, if you can describe it to us, we’ll try and remake it. Using a film crew, a team of Forest Fringe artists, all the props we can fit in the back of a van, and a cast of thousands, we will make your dreams come true.
Forest Fringe began life in 2007 as an independent, not-for-profit space in the midst of the Edinburgh Festival, a space that offers artists and audiences
"the chance to come together collectively, contributing their time and energy to make exciting, improbable, spectacular things happen."
Over the years, they have moved beyond the Edinburgh Festival, creating new collaborative projects year-round events all over Britain - such as their innovative Travelling Sounds Library, a touring library of audio-based artworks, by some of the most exciting artists in the UK - and
finding imaginative ways to connect the country’s most innovative performance artists and theatremakers with new audiences, new supporters and new contexts for their work.
For us Forest Fringe remains an experiment, a creative project that we hope is defined by the same kind of adventurousness and unpredictability that we so love in the artists we work with.
The Latitude Festival is an annual music festival that takes place in Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk, England, that has been going since July 2006.
